Title of the Program: BAR TENDING AND JUGGLING Date of Program: 31.08.10

The Department of Hotel Management and Catering Science, Trice Gout Association of Srinivasan College of Arts and Science Conducted one day workshop on “BAR TENDING AND JUGGLING” for all students of the department.

Resource persons were Mr.Aravinth, Mr.John, and Mr.Manoj, Indian Institute of Bar Tending, Chennai. Chairman Shri.A.Srinivasan presided over the function. Mr.N.Ramesh, Lecturer, welcomed the gathering, Mr.S.Yoganand, Head of the Department introduced the guest. The Resource persons demonstrated bar tending and juggling. Also they explained preparation of cocktail and mock tail, in which they had prepared number of cocktails like 007, Flying Mules, Coconut, Wiseman, Godfather, mock tails, viz, Caribbean delight, coco colada and coriander drink. They elaborated the service modes of beverages, serving the drinks to the customers in an attractive way and the way of mixing alcohol like rum, gin and non alcohol drinks like fruit juices. 60 U.G students of the department participated and benefited from this workshop. The practical demonstrations on juggling were awesome and mind blowing. The students were given hand on training also. Prof.A.Muthurasu, Principal, Ms.R.Sasidhara, Vice-Principal offered felicitations. M.Karunanidhi of III Hotel Management and Catering Science proposed gratification note. Mr.V.SritharKannan,Ms.Sasikala, Lecturer and Mr.Durai Rai supporting staff helped in arrangement of the workshop.
