of Srinivasan College of Arts and Science Conducted one day workshop
on “VEGETABLE & FRUIT CARVING” for all students
of the department.
Resource persons were Chef.R.vijay
& Chef.R.Sugan, “SAI Institute of Carving Medavakkam,Chennai”.
Chairman Shri.A.Srinivasan presided over the function. Mr.N.Ramesh,
Lecturer, welcomed the gathering, Mr.S.Yoganand, Head of the Department
introduced the guest. The Resource persons demonstrated Vegetable
& Fruit Carving. Also they designed the form of swan, Peacock,
Parrot and cock, God Vinayagar, Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam. Apart from
this they have also modeled Toys from fruits and how to prepare
vegetable flower Bouquet. 60 U.G students of the department participated
and benefited from this workshop. The practical demonstrations
on Vegetable & Fruit Carving were awesome and mind blowing.
The students were given hand on training also. Prof.A.Muthurasu,
Principal, Ms.R.Sasidhara, Vice-Principal offered felicitations.
M.Karunanidhi of III Hotel Management and Catering Science proposed
gratification note. Mr.V.SritharKannan, Ms.Sasikala, Lecturer
